Service Details

Whether this is your first visit or you’ve been joining us for years, a few bits of information may be helpful…

People will typically start arriving between 5:30 - 6:00 PM. This is a great time to socialize with everyone before the service begins. Staff, greeters, members, and volunteers will all be on hand to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.

At 6:00 PM our service will start, usually with a special music performance! Then we will sing some great Christmas Hymns followed by a presentation by our Sr. Minister, Mike Hawkins.

After service, many people will stick around to fellowship with one another before heading home for the evening. Most of the time, service is over around 7:00 PM.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out, and we will be happy to provide answers or assistance!

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

What Is Christmas All About?

Read The Christmas Story

Christmas is the celebration of God stepping into our world. It marks the moment when Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born in Bethlehem—not in power or glory, but in humility. The birth of Jesus fulfills centuries of prophecy and reveals God’s desire to be close to His people. Christmas reminds us that God didn’t stay distant; He came near, choosing to walk among us and bring light into a world filled with darkness.

At the heart of Christmas is God’s love and grace. Jesus came not only to be born, but to rescue us. His arrival signals the beginning of God’s plan to save humanity—offering forgiveness, healing, and new life to anyone who believes. Christmas is a reminder that God sees us, knows us, and cares deeply for us. The manger points to the cross, where Christ’s love is ultimately shown, but Christmas celebrates the beautiful beginning of that story.

We celebrate Christmas because it is the starting point of the greatest gift we could ever receive, which is eternal life with God in heaven. Through the birth of Jesus Christ, we rejoice that our Savior is born!

“And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”
